Swatch is hiring an Assistant Store Manager in Aventura, FL to drive sales, lead the team and maintain store operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in achieving and exceeding sales targets through active floor leadership and performance coaching.
- Coach, motivate and develop sales consultants to deliver exemplary customer service and sustained client relationships (clienteling).
- Manage daily store operations including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, shift scheduling and staff rostering.
- Maintain merchandising and visual standards in accordance with brand guidelines; execute product launches and seasonal floor moves.
- Oversee inventory control, stock replenishment, receiving and cycle counts; liaise with supply chain and corporate teams on replenishment needs.
- Monitor KPI dashboards and sales reports; translate performance data into actionable coaching and merchandising decisions.
- Implement loss-prevention procedures and ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.
- Act as a brand ambassador with VIP clients and handle escalated client enquiries or service recovery with discretion and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership capability with the ability to coach and develop retail teams.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
- Excellent client-facing skills and a track record of delivering high standards of service to discerning customers.
- Solid organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and stock control.
- Flexibility to work retail hours including weekends and holidays; legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Skills
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of progressive retail experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or assistant management role; prior experience in watches, jewelry or luxury accessories preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or coursework in business, retail management, or a related field preferred.
