Swatch is hiring an Assistant Store Manager in Antwerp to support boutique operations, lead the team and drive sales at the Swatch boutique.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in achieving boutique sales targets, conversion rates and other retail KPIs through daily coaching and active selling.
- Supervise and motivate boutique staff; lead team briefings, performance reviews and on‑the‑floor mentoring to elevate client service and product knowledge.
- Ensure impeccable boutique presentation and compliance with Swatch Group visual merchandising standards, including window dressing and internal displays.
- Manage inventory control, stock movements and regular reconciliations; coordinate replenishment and communicate with central logistics to minimise shrinkage.
- Oversee cash handling, point‑of‑sale operations and daily financial reporting, ensuring adherence to internal controls and loss‑prevention procedures.
- Drive clienteling activities: develop and maintain customer relationships, follow up on appointments, and support CRM data hygiene to maximise repeat business.
- Act as operational lead in the manager's absence, handling escalations, store opening/closing procedures and liaising with regional management.
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory experience in retail, ideally within watches, jewellery or luxury fashion.
- Demonstrable track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and retail KPIs.
- Strong leadership and coaching capabilities with the ability to inspire a small boutique team.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a polished, client‑focused manner appropriate to an upmarket retail environment.
- Reliable numeracy and experience with cash reconciliation and basic retail financial reporting.

Experience
Minimum three years of retail experience with at least one year in a supervisory or assistant managerial role; prior experience in watches, jewellery or luxury goods is strongly preferred.
Education
Secondary education or vocational diploma; formal qualifications in retail management, hospitality or business are advantageous but not mandatory.
