Swarovski is hiring a full-time Workday Functional Developer in Bandar Bayan Baru, Malaysia, to translate business requirements into Workday solutions, optimize HR processes, maintain data integrity, and support feature adoption. The role partners with stakeholders and HR teams on configuration, project work, training, and process improvement.
Role & Responsibilities
- Regularly research new enhancements and learning opportunities through Workday Community.
- Translate business needs into functional requirements.
- Configure Workday, implement new or improved solutions, and coordinate and lead activities related to project work plans.
- Document changes and update relevant training manuals and documentation.
- Maintain data quality and integrity for the assigned area.
- Partner with stakeholders to map business processes and identify how to implement and optimize them through Workday.
- Advise and train HR Specialists, HR Operations teams, and Managers on Workday use and best practices.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders and HR Operations to align the Workday Feature Adoption Roadmap for the assigned area with business needs.
Qualifications
- At least 3–5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent proficiency in English.
- Extensive hands-on Workday experience, ideally across all functional areas, with in-depth knowledge of at least two modules, preferably Talent & Performance; Workday certification is preferred.
- Experience with the HRIS aspects of HR processes such as performance reviews, merit cycles, onboarding, or benefits.
- Strong analytical ability to review data and identify relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong listening skills.
- Team player with excellent organizational, prioritization, project management, and time management skills to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment undergoing transformational change.
- Ability to build effective working relationships at all organizational levels and communicate technical information in an accessible way to less technical colleagues.
- Experience supporting and partnering with diverse, globally dispersed stakeholders and team members.
