Swarovski is hiring two Senior Supply Planners for its Vietnam manufacturing site, focused respectively on Components Planning and External Manufacturing Planning. The role develops tactical supply plans over a 3–9 month horizon, manages inventory and supply execution, and collaborates with global and cross-functional teams to support product availability worldwide.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize tactical supply plans over a 3–9 month horizon to ensure product availability across RDCs while balancing inventory costs, capacity utilization, and working capital.
- Collaborate with Demand Planning, Controlling, and Production Network teams to align supply forecasts, manage risks and opportunities, and ensure consensus handovers to assigned manufacturers.
- Monitor and rebalance inventory across RDCs to maintain service levels, minimize rebalancing costs, and adjust stock levels proactively in response to demand shifts and supply risks.
- Improve planning processes and transitions between tactical and strategic planning horizons, and contribute to cost-saving initiatives and service enhancements.
- For Components Planning: oversee component purchase orders, ensure feasible supply flows from suppliers, and secure material availability to support production plans.
- For Components Planning: monitor material inventory, supplier capacity, and inbound risks; mitigate shortages proactively and ensure continuity of supply for manufacturing operations.
- For External Manufacturing Planning: manage supply execution for assigned external manufacturing partners, aligning production plans, order fulfillment, and finished-goods availability with business priorities.
- For External Manufacturing Planning: optimize manufacturer loading, monitor supplier performance and capacity constraints, and work with external partners to mitigate supply risks and achieve service targets.
Qualifications
- Educational background in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a relevant major.
- Ideally 6+ years of experience in Supply Planning, Material Planning, Production Planning, or related Supply Chain functions within complex supply chain operations.
- Solid understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, including inventory management, capacity planning, supplier collaboration, and demand-supply balancing.
- Experience working with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams to manage risks, resolve supply challenges, and drive business outcomes.
- Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
- Growth mindset, agility, and ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
