The Quality Engineer improves the quality assurance system in SMT, ensures processes and products meet regulatory and quality management system requirements, and monitors quality performance. The role uses Six Sigma root-cause analysis and technical-team problem-solving to reduce customer complaints and defects, while supporting quality projects.
Role & Responsibilities
- Implement improvements to enhance the quality assurance system in SMT.
- Ensure processes and products comply with regulations and meet quality management system requirements by implementing QTP, QCP and PCP.
- Monitor quality performance using statistical data and reports.
- Analyze potential root causes using Six Sigma methodology and work with the technical team on problem-solving to reduce customer complaints and defect rates.
- Support the implementation of quality-related projects.
