The Quality Engineer improves the quality assurance system in SMT, ensuring processes and products meet regulatory and quality management system requirements through QTP, QCP and PCP implementation. The role monitors quality performance, applies Six Sigma root-cause analysis with the technical team to reduce customer complaints and defects, and supports quality-related projects.
Role & Responsibilities
- Implement and drive improvements to enhance the quality assurance system in SMT.
- Ensure processes and products comply with regulations and meet quality management system requirements by implementing QTP, QCP and PCP.
- Monitor quality performance using statistical data and reports.
- Analyze potential root causes using Six Sigma methodology and collaborate with the technical team on problem-solving to reduce customer complaints and defect rates.
