Its skincare, makeup, fragrance and haircare collections unite botanical knowledge with scientific research and sensorial refinement. As an employer, Sisley brings together specialists across research, product development, manufacturing, marketing and retail, offering a professional environment shaped by exacting standards and a long-term family vision. Sisley Paris is hiring a Store Planning Director to lead permanent and temporary owned retail projects for Sisley and Neurae, oversee international CAPEX delivery and manage two store planners. Permanent full-time position.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of permanent and temporary owned retail spaces for Sisley and Neurae, including maisons, boutiques, pop-ups and stands, and support regions in implementing the international CAPEX plan while meeting deadlines, budgets and quality standards.
  • Oversee store opening and renovation projects from feasibility studies through handover, ensuring compliance with brand standards, technical constraints and financial objectives.
  • Deliver priority projects, including maisons, owned boutiques and key flagships, to high operational and architectural standards.
  • Lead specific initiatives such as corners, pop-ups and events, ensuring execution is consistent with brand identity.
  • Review landlords’ technical documentation, identify local constraints, and coordinate initial budget estimates and feasibility studies with procurement, legal and subsidiary teams.
  • Coordinate with Store Design to adapt concepts to technical and local constraints; prepare tender documents, validate final budgets, coordinate legal contracts and monitor budgets with procurement.

  • Organize handovers with subsidiaries, provide maintenance information and support local teams to ensure installations remain operational.
  • Act as the key interface between internal teams, including legal, procurement, IT and subsidiaries, and external partners such as local architects, project management assistants and general contractors.
  • Maintain structured communication with regional leadership and the executive committee, providing clear reports to support retail committee decisions.
  • Organize project databases for budgets, schedules and reporting, and maintain collaborative tools including JIRA and weekly retail dashboards to support multi-project management.
  • Review completed projects to identify opportunities for improvement and regularly optimize processes.
  • Manage two store planners, support their professional development and allocate resources according to retail CAPEX plan priorities.
  • Monitor technological and regulatory developments; research innovative materials, technical solutions and new partners with procurement to maintain quality and optimize costs.
  • Propose architectural and technical simplifications that balance budget requirements with brand image and ensure compliance with applicable regulations, including ERP and local technical standards.

  • Proven track record leading ambitious international CAPEX plans.
  • Ability to technically challenge projects, optimize costs through Value Engineering and negotiate with partners, including procurement, general contractors, millworkers and project management assistants, while maintaining brand standards.
