Reporting to the Supply Chain Department, this role is responsible for executing picking operations, order preparation, and warehouse logistics functions. The position involves retrieving items per system-generated instructions, organizing palettes according to safety and ergonomic standards, and managing materials throughout picking, packaging, and shipping zones using radio frequency equipment and preparation carts.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute picking missions (full or partial) received via radio frequency scanner or supervisor instruction
- Verify compliance of picks and ensure correct placement in designated zones
- Inspect product and packaging condition before transfer
- Print labels for new handling units and arrange required labels (lot number, shade, country of origin, etc.)
- Build palettes according to safety and ergonomic guidelines (height, organization, stability)
- Conduct inventory counts as directed by supervisor
- Replenish consumables for machinery, labeling equipment, and workstations
- Maintain equipment in good working condition (scanner, cart, etc.) and report incidents to supervisor
- Adhere to forklift operation safety protocols
- Keep work area organized and clean
- Comply with company policies on quality, hygiene, safety, and environmental standards
Qualifications
- Prior experience in logistics and order preparation
- CACES 1 certification (preferred)
- Proficiency with radio frequency equipment
- Strong teamwork and attention to detail
- Commitment to quality and safety standards
Skills
Experience
Prior experience in logistics or warehouse order preparation is preferred; CACES 1 certification is a plus.
Education
No specific educational qualification required; technical training in warehouse operations is beneficial.
