Reporting to the Supply Chain Department, the Order Picker selects and validates items using a radio-frequency system, prepares parcels for shipment, and carries out personalization for certain customers or orders in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices. The role is a full-time fixed-term contract of at least one month, starting as soon as possible.
Role & Responsibilities
- Pick the number of items indicated by the radio-frequency reader for each order being prepared.
- Validate the items by scanning their barcodes with the radio-frequency reader.
- Apply promotional labels to products when required.
- Check the quality of each product placed in the parcel.
- Arrange and secure items correctly in parcels for shipment to customers.
- Carry out specific tasks such as preparing bags and affixing labels.
- Report any anomalies encountered to a supervisor.
- Conduct inventories as requested by a supervisor.
- Check, when requested by a supervisor, that product cartons are in the correct location.
- Remove empty cartons via the waste conveyor according to instructions received on the radio-frequency reader.
- Keep the work area tidy, clear and clean.
- Follow the company’s applicable Quality, Hygiene, Safety and Environment rules.
- Carry out personalization operations for certain customers or orders and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
