Role & Responsibilities
- Manage the operational oversight of the metrology equipment fleet and adherence to scheduled maintenance and calibration timelines
- Conduct calibration and verification activities for measuring instruments and control devices
- Analyze measurement data trends and produce reports on measurement system performance
- Coordinate with external calibration service providers, verify compliance with service specifications, and review external calibration reports
- Initiate and manage quality events, including equipment anomalies and modifications
- Create and maintain equipment history files and technical documentation
- Approve verification reports and calibration certificates
- Develop and maintain the documentation systems necessary for metrology compliance
- Provide cross-functional support within the Quality Assurance department
Qualifications
- Minimum Bac +2/3 qualification in metrology, quality, physical measurements, instrumentation, or equivalent, with demonstrated experience in metrology operations
- Technical expertise in calibration of measuring instruments and control devices, including standard control methods
- Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate external service providers
- Strong organizational and analytical capabilities with attention to detail
