Sisley Industrie seeks a Laboratory Technician – Physico-Chemistry in Blois, France. Conduct analytical testing and ensure quality compliance in a full-time CDI position.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct physico-chemical analyses (physical tests, organoleptic tests, UV, IR, HPLC, GC, AAS) on raw materials and bulk products prior to packaging
- Prepare and complete analysis dossiers and record results in the ERP system
- Verify analysis documentation and validate result conformity against established standards
- Alert supervisory staff to non-conformities and manage the investigation process, including root cause identification and preventive action proposals
- Release batches of raw materials and bulk products in compliance with regulatory procedures
- Maintain and update raw material and bulk product documentation
- Create and update laboratory documents and standard operating procedures
- Manage and maintain the sample library, reagents, glassware, and consumables inventory
- Oversee calibration, maintenance, and periodic qualification of analytical equipment
- Participate in laboratory management activities including visual management meetings, performance indicator analysis, 5S initiatives, and continuous improvement programs
Qualifications
- Diploma in Chemistry or Biochemistry (Bac+2 to Bac+3 level)
- Significant experience in a similar laboratory role, ideally in cosmetic, pharmaceutical, or food production industries
- Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) or GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) standards
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong teamwork and communication skills (written and oral)
- Critical thinking and problem-solving mindset
- Attention to detail and methodical approach
- Flexibility and adaptability to operational requirements
