The Financial Controller Intern supports Sisley Paris’s Financial Control team under an experienced manager, collaborating with departments and subsidiaries in France and abroad. Responsibilities include maintaining the Group Finance framework, adapting SAP, SBO and FCRS to evolving standards, reviewing subsidiary accounts, liaising with auditors and carrying out ad hoc financial-control studies. The role is a full-time internship.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist the Financial Control team under the supervision of an experienced manager, working with departments and subsidiaries in France and abroad.
- Enrich and share the Group Finance framework in coordination with Financial Control, Consolidation and Reporting, Accounting Shared Services, Treasury, Tax, Financial Information Systems, regions and subsidiaries.
- Help adapt tools (SAP, SBO, FCRS) to changes in standards, in coordination with Financial Information Systems.
- Participate in the review of subsidiaries’ annual accounts with the Group Legal Department.
- Help manage relationships with the Group’s auditors.
- Carry out ad hoc studies and assignments related to Group financial control, including subsidiary dividend remittance policy and long-term employee-benefit provisions.
Qualifications
- Currently studying at a business school or university, specializing in accounting or finance.
- Basic understanding of financial reporting standards (IFRS and French GAAP).
- Ability to synthesize complex financial information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Rigorous, analytical and able to synthesize information.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Fluent English.
