Shiseido Warehouse Team Lead

Role & Responsibilities

• Work with the Operations Supervisor to establish, create, implement, and enforce company initiatives and policies while maintaining efficiency and quality for internal and external customers.
• Direct warehouse workers’ daily activities and coordinate with other Leads to improve efficiency, accuracy, and product flow.
• Act as a liaison between management and team members, and speak respectfully about the company and team members.
• Enforce company policies and procedures, and report observed inconsistencies to the Supervisor.
• Meet deadlines and goals set by the department Supervisor or Manager.
• Provide the Supervisor with feedback on team members’ strengths and development needs.
• Deliver monthly performance reviews to agency temporary staff.
• Lead by example, remain approachable, and follow through consistently on promises and commitments.
• Monitor and enforce employee break schedules within the assigned section.
• Maintain and enforce company safety and security policies.
• Recognize the impact of decisions on the company, customers, and team members.
• Support the Supervisor in setting goals based on department headcount, delegating tasks, monitoring progress through reporting, and updating leadership on obstacles and issues.
• Perform other duties as needed to support the company’s vision, mission, and values.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a warehouse worker, or an equivalent combination of acceptable training, education, and experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a lead or supervisory role.
• Experience using warehouse equipment and an RF scanner preferred.
• Ability to learn and perform all warehouse processes as needed.
• Ability to operate powered industrial equipment, including a reach truck and double pallet rider, preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Strong English-language, mathematics, reading, and writing skills.
• Experience using a PC or laptop, Outlook, Word, Excel, and inventory management systems.
