Shiseido Warehouse Lead

Role & Responsibilities

• Provide work direction to warehouse employees and coordinate with fellow Leads to maintain product flow, efficiency, and accuracy.
• Act as a liaison between management and team members, representing the company and team members respectfully.
• Enforce company policies and procedures, and inform the Supervisor of observed inconsistencies.
• Meet deadlines and goals set by the department Supervisor or Manager.
• Provide Supervisors with feedback on team members’ strengths and development needs.
• Deliver monthly performance reviews to temporary agency staff.
• Lead by example by remaining approachable, following through on commitments, and aligning actions with words.
• Monitor employees’ break schedules and hold them accountable to the schedule.
• Maintain and enforce company safety and security policies.
• Consider the impact of decisions on the company, customers, and team members.
• Interact with commercial drivers at shipping gates.
• Run the department efficiently in the Supervisors’ absence.
• Operate powered industrial equipment, including reach trucks and double pallet riders.
• Work closely with the Operations Supervisor to establish, create, implement, and enforce company initiatives and policies while maintaining efficiency and quality for internal and external customers.
• Perform other duties as needed to support the company’s vision, mission, and values.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a warehouse worker, or an equivalent combination of acceptable training, education, and experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a lead or supervisory role.
• Experience using warehouse equipment and an RF scanner preferred.
• Ability to learn and perform all warehouse processes as needed.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Strong English-language, mathematics, reading, and writing skills.
• Experience using a PC or laptop, Outlook, Word, Excel, and inventory management systems.
• Transportation experience is a plus.
