Shiseido is hiring a Warehouse Equipment Operator for its distribution center in Groveport, Ohio. The role operates material-handling equipment, supports replenishment, case picking and physical inventories, and maintains safe, accurate warehouse operations; the hourly rate may vary by geographic location and is based on knowledge, skills and experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Operate power equipment, including stock pickers, reach trucks and turret trucks, in replenishment and case-pick areas; operate pallet riders and manual pallet jacks as needed.
- Manage inventory accurately using computers or Radio Frequency (RF) guns.
- Complete pre-shift inspection checklists for all power equipment before use.
- Meet daily performance and accuracy goals.
- Use RF technology and appropriate inventory management practices.
- Maintain a clean, orderly and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with employees and departments toward shared goals and objectives.
- Rotate throwing cases onto the conveyor.
- Stand, bend and lift cases throughout the shift.
- Support warehouse physical inventories.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating power equipment.
- Work experience in a distribution center.
- Analytical and counting skills.
- Reading, writing, mathematics and English-language skills usually attained through a high school education or equivalent.
- Computer knowledge and experience operating RF scanners.
- Willingness to move between and work in alternate departments to support the business.
- Flexibility to work required overtime.
- Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 40 pounds throughout the day.
- Ability to wear a body harness and other fall-protection PPE and meet the required weight classifications; regular weigh-ins are mandatory for safety.
