Shiseido is seeking a Visual Merchandising Project Assistant to support daily retail merchandising and new product launch rollouts across 10 beauty brands in France. The role includes planograms, POSM coordination, store presentation, photo reporting, competitor reviews and order management. This is a six-month internship starting in January 2027.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist the Merchandiser with daily activities to ensure the brands’ merchandising is properly maintained at retailers across the French market.
- Support the rollout of merchandising for new product launches across a portfolio of 10 brands.
- Develop retailer-specific planograms.
- Coordinate the installation of visuals with decorators and the production and placement of point-of-sale materials (POSM) for brand launches.
- Help maintain point-of-sale presentation in collaboration with field teams.
- Produce photo reports on new installations and analyse changes in brand visibility.
- Coordinate and relay information between headquarters and retail teams.
- Conduct competitor reviews, particularly at flagship locations such as department stores and SEPHORA Champs-Élysées.
- Support the management of POSM orders and shipments.
- Work with Marketing, Retail, Key Account Managers and suppliers to uphold brand image at points of sale.
Qualifications
- Education at bac +4/+5 level, such as a business school or university degree.
- A first experience in a Trade or Merchandising department and in project management is preferred.
- Strong organisation, including the ability to manage several projects simultaneously, rigour, responsiveness and autonomy.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a particular interest in cosmetic products.
- Proficiency in Pack Office, including PowerPoint and Excel.
