As part of Shiseido NEXT Internship Programme 2027, the Regional Sales Intern, Fragrance supports regional sales analysis, distributor marketing plans, market and trend analysis, negotiation preparation, sales operations, forecasting and pricing. The intern collaborates with colleagues across Asia Pacific and gains hands-on experience with business projects and guidance from experienced professionals.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Regional Sales Director with analysis, commercial strategy and negotiation preparation for Shiseido Fragrance Division brands across the region.
- Assist the Director in preparing and monitoring annual marketing plans with each distributor.
- Track distributor compliance with agreed activities.
- Compile reports on promotions and marketing initiatives.
- Collect and analyze data on distribution networks and sales performance.
- Benchmark competitor pricing and marketing activities.
- Prepare insights on market potential and store-level opportunities.
- Prepare negotiation materials for sales, A&P and local marketing activities.
- Support the Director in reviewing contracts, promotions and P&L scenarios.
- Contribute to presentations for product launches and sales cycles.
- Support order processing, shipment tracking and quota management.
- Maintain current records of orders, forecasts and customer information.
- Liaise with customer service and finance teams to support timely invoicing and payments.
- Support the Director in analyzing customer forecasts and quota consumption.
- Prepare pricing templates and validate price updates.
- Monitor promotional stock needs and recommend adjustments.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and commercial mindset, with an interest in sales and marketing.
- Excellent communication and negotiation potential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrix environment and collaborate across teams.
- Self-starter with curiosity and drive to learn in an entrepreneurial setting.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and data analysis tools preferred.
