Shiseido is seeking an Operational Marketing Product Assistant for its EMEA fragrance team, supporting brands including Narciso Rodriguez, Zadig & Voltaire, Issey Miyake, Serge Lutens and Max Mara. The role covers business performance analysis, international project coordination and marketing operations. This is a six-month internship starting in January 2027.
Role & Responsibilities
- Analyze EMEA market, brand and franchise performance, including monthly sell-out and sell-in analyses, launch reports and annual brand reviews.
- Provide day-to-day operational support to European markets in activating local marketing plans; assist with launch briefs, develop POSM tools, adapt and distribute visual assets to markets, and coordinate projects.
- Monitor competitors and prepare reports on product launches and event concepts, price positioning, visual identity, product messaging and launch performance.
- Maintain key contacts with EMEA subsidiaries, internal EMEA teams (Image, Production, Visual Merchandising, Training, E-retail, E-commerce, Press and Influencer Relations, Trade Marketing, Scientific Communication and Supply Chain), and product development teams at international headquarters.
Qualifications
- Higher education at bachelor's plus four or five years level, from a business school or university.
- A first six-month experience in a similar sector with an international dimension is preferred.
- Rigorous, proactive and self-reliant, with the ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills and an interest in the fragrance industry.
- Good spoken and written English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
