Shiseido is hiring a second-shift Warehouse Equipment Operator at its Groveport distribution center to operate powered equipment, support replenishment and case picking, and maintain accurate inventory. The role includes physical warehouse work, required overtime flexibility and support for physical inventories; the hourly rate may vary by geographic location and is based on knowledge, skills and experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Operate power equipment, including stock pickers, reach trucks and turret trucks, for replenishment and case-picking areas; may also operate pallet riders and manual pallet jacks.
- Complete pre-shift inspection checklists for all powered equipment before use.
- Meet daily performance and accuracy goals.
- Use RF technology and appropriate inventory management practices to maintain accurate inventory.
- Maintain a clean, orderly and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with employees and departments toward common goals and objectives.
- Rotate throwing cases onto the conveyor.
- Stand, bend and lift cases throughout the shift.
- Support warehouse physical inventories.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Be available to move between departments to support the business.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating powered equipment.
- Work experience in a distribution center.
- Analytical and counting skills.
- Reading, writing, mathematical and English-language skills typically attained through a high school education or equivalent.
- Computer knowledge and experience operating RF scanners.
- Flexibility to work required overtime.
- Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 40 pounds throughout the day.
- Ability to wear a body harness and other fall-protection PPE and meet required weight classifications; regular weigh-ins are mandatory for safety.
