As part of Shiseido NEXT Internship Programme 2027, the Regional Digital Marketing Intern will support the operations, optimization and governance of brand websites across multiple markets, covering website hygiene, user experience, analytics, privacy compliance, cross-market coordination and marketing tools governance. The internship provides hands-on work on real business projects and collaboration with Asia Pacific colleagues and experienced professionals.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct regular hygiene checks across regional brand.com websites, identifying and resolving content accuracy, link integrity and SEO compliance issues in collaboration with agency and local affiliate teams.
- Identify and document issues requiring escalation beyond global or agency-level resolution.
- Help maintain centralized documentation and standard operating procedures for webmastering workflows.
- Evaluate customer journeys and identify opportunities to improve website usability and user experience.
- Support UX/UI audits and contribute insights to strategic enhancement projects.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking to identify best practices and innovation opportunities.
- Assist with GA4 audits and implement tracking enhancements across geo-brand websites.
- Monitor data integrity and support tracking of Google Analytics property connections to other Google platforms.
- Support data extraction and analyze e-commerce performance data to provide insights for continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with local market teams and agency partners on SEO/SEM action items and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
- Manage recurring meetings with markets and brand teams, including scheduling, agenda preparation and documentation of key outcomes.
- Foster stakeholder communication and alignment to support smooth project execution.
- Support management and maintenance of regional marketing tools and access rights, including Google Analytics and other platforms.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.
- Strong interest in digital marketing, web operations and user experience.
- Familiarity with website CMS platforms, Google Analytics and basic HTML/CSS is a plus.
- Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and communication skills.
- Excellent people and communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different personalities.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive team player who enjoys working across diverse teams and markets.
