Shiseido Beauty Consultant

Role & Responsibilities

• Promote Shiseido products and its approach to beauty while delivering an authentic, warm and inspirational customer experience.
• Use the Connect, Customize and Commit service model to welcome customers, personalize their beauty routines and build genuine, ongoing relationships.
• Achieve individual sales goals and contribute to daily store targets; track progress using company-provided tools and communicate learning needs to store management.
• Work with urgency to achieve hourly goals, with attention to average dollar sale, conversion and key category goals.
• Provide professional, knowledgeable consultations and demonstrate Shiseido products through services such as facial massage and makeup application, meeting minimum service goals set by AE.
• Maintain accurate product lifecycle processes, including cycle counts, shipment processing and placement.
• Support effective inventory management through accurate POS transactions and maintain proper inventory levels.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization on the sales floor and in the backroom; communicate maintenance concerns to store management.
• Participate in implementing visual floor sets and assist with merchandising and marketing maintenance.
• Use automated systems effectively and display merchandise attractively.
• Follow the company time and attendance policy and Shiseido dress code, including wearing Shiseido products as applicable.
• Perform other duties as needed to support the company vision, mission and values.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of selling experience.
• Customer-focused industry experience is preferred.
• Artistry experience is preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Korean, Japanese or Chinese.
• Flexible availability during peak traffic times, including evenings, weekends and holidays, and willingness to adjust to business needs.
• Able to work in a fragrance-filled environment.
• Able to lift, push and pull up to 25 pounds and stand for up to 8 hours.
• At least 18 years old.

At least 1 year of selling experience; customer-focused industry experience and artistry experience preferred.
