The Accounting Intern supports Shiseido Asia Pacific and Shiseido Singapore accounting teams, gaining exposure to accounts receivable processes and business units while contributing to reconciliations, financial-year and month-end close, reporting templates, audit support, and data integrity. Role & Responsibilities
- Assist the Shiseido Asia Pacific and Shiseido Singapore Accounting teams with accounting responsibilities.
- Learn and perform reconciliations for financial year-end closing.
- Assist with setting up reporting templates for the new financial year.
- Participate in the financial year-end audit by liaising with company auditors and providing supporting documentation.
- Support month-end closing activities to help accelerate the close.
- Work with the IT team to identify system or data errors and improve data accuracy.
- Review and analyze data to detect potential integrity issues.
Qualifications
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
- Basic accounting knowledge.
- Able to work well with others.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Able to work on own initiative with guidance.
