The Working Student supports customer service, beauty services and classes, stock replenishment, visual merchandising, inventory, cash register operations and daily store routines at Sephora’s Munich store. The role is part-time under a permanent employment contract.
Role & Responsibilities
- Contribute to customer satisfaction and gather customer feedback.
- Support staff productivity and engagement.
- Maintain stock availability and efficient replenishment.
- Follow operational routines and ensure compliance.
- Monitor turnover against targets and support category development.
- Control retail key figures, including MS, IPT, AVB, CR and number of services.
- Complete inventories on schedule.
- Monitor sickness rates and employee turnover.
- Provide short services across all departments and support beauty classes.
- Ensure product presentation follows visual merchandising specifications.
- Maintain the assortment and merchandise.
- Keep the sales floor fully stocked and prepare products for sale.
- Clean furniture and products on the sales floor.
- Store and replenish goods in the warehouse and on the sales floor.
- Support merchandising updates, including conversions and construction.
- Carry out inventories and operate the cash register.
- Perform additional tasks related to daily business.
- Track KPIs including conversion rate, items per basket, average basket, and customer feedback and satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Communicative, reliable and organized.
- Team-oriented, with an open, motivating and friendly manner.
- Comparable experience or an interest in beauty, cosmetics, retail, fashion or gastronomy.
- Initial experience in retail and in advising and dealing with customers.
- Excellent customer communication skills.
- Good knowledge of the beauty industry and trends.
- Fluent in English or the native language of the country.
- Acts in a people-oriented way.
