Sephora is seeking a Working Student for its Düsseldorf Corner on a part-time basis under a permanent employment contract. The role supports customer service, beauty advice and services, sales-floor presentation and replenishment, merchandising updates, inventory and daily operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support customers and provide advice across Make Up, Skin Care, Hair Care and Fragrance, including beauty trends on the sales floor.
- Deliver the Sephora Attitude: Welcoming, Knowing and Closing.
- Sell products through in-depth product knowledge and build customer relationships at eye level.
- Share knowledge about products, trends and beauty news.
- Provide short services across all departments and support beauty classes.
- Ensure product presentation follows visual merchandising specifications.
- Maintain the assortment and merchandise.
- Keep the sales floor fully stocked and prepare products for sale.
- Clean furniture and products on the sales floor.
- Store and replenish goods in the warehouse and on the sales floor.
- Support merchandising updates, including conversions and construction work.
- Carry out inventories and operate the cash register.
- Handle additional tasks related to daily business.
- Work toward KPIs covering conversion rate, items per basket, average basket, customer feedback and satisfaction, and number of services.
Qualifications
- Comparable experience or an interest in beauty, cosmetics, retail, fashion or gastronomy.
- First experience in retail and in advising and dealing with customers.
- Excellent customer communication skills.
- Good knowledge of the beauty industry and trends.
- Fluent English or the country's native language.
