Shift Coordinator (Full-Time) at Sephora Mississippi Distribution Center, Olive Branch, MS. Oversee operations and manage associates in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Competitive hourly pay $23.50–$25.15.
Role & Responsibilities
- Work closely with departmental associates to ensure productivity, accuracy, safety, and security standards are met
- Assign and prioritize work tasks to other associates to achieve daily and operational work goals
- Communicate daily work goals to team and coordinate against defined action plans
- Monitor associates' work performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement
- Train associates in their duties according to company Preferred Methods and Procedures manual
- Operate and maintain various warehouse management systems (WMS) to track and monitor work activities
- Balance inventory and manage the flow of communication between shifts
- Ensure compliance with all Company, state, and OSHA safety rules, policies, and regulations
- Report safety violations and potential safety concerns to supervisory or management personnel
- Comply with all Company Loss Prevention policies and procedures
- Maintain excellent attendance and serve as an example for other associates
- Demonstrate flexibility with work schedules and availability for designated shifts and overtime as operational needs require
- Provide high-quality internal and external customer service per company standards
Qualifications
- College degree or relevant warehouse/distribution center work experience
- Previous experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or menu-driven applications
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Basic mathematics skills
- Ability to effectively give and receive feedback in a professional and respectful manner
- Demonstrated ability to work proactively to business needs
- Ability to understand other functions of the business as they apply to the position
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of relevant warehouse, distribution center, or operations experience; prior experience with Warehouse Management Systems or similar menu-driven applications required or demonstrated ability to quickly learn technical systems.
Education
College degree or equivalent relevant work experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
