Sephora is hiring a Warehouse Equipment Operator in Olive Branch, Mississippi, to support distribution center operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Operate motorized and manual material-handling equipment to support warehouse distribution center operations and production, including powered industrial trucks, walkie riders, hand jacks, trucks and carts.
  • Obtain required certifications for safe operation of material-handling equipment and battery-changing procedures.
  • Use equipment to process orders and perform other work as directed by management; process orders without equipment when business needs require.
  • Meet established safety, production and service-level standards.
  • Operate RF terminals to support company operating systems and inventory-control procedures.
  • Follow company, state and OSHA safety rules, policies and regulations, including proper work attire; report actual or potential safety violations to supervisory or management personnel.
  • Comply with company Loss Prevention policies and procedures.
  • Maintain regular and acceptable attendance, work a flexible schedule, and work designated shifts and overtime as requested to meet business and operational needs.
  • Respond proactively to direction from Shift Coordinators, management and other departmental personnel.
  • Provide high-quality internal and external customer service in line with company standards.
  • Cross-train in other non-equipment-operator job classifications.
  • Assist Maintenance with projects requiring motorized material-handling equipment support.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience operating equipment in a warehouse environment is preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record.
  • Familiarity with conventional distribution picking, packing, put-away and replenishment procedures and processes.
  • Ability to obtain all job-required DOT certifications.
  • Able to stand, sit, squat, lift and/or walk for the duration of the scheduled shift.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working at heights of up to 32 feet while operating a reach truck and other warehouse equipment.
  • Able to wear appropriate safety shoes and a safety harness/lanyard as required by OSHA, state and company regulations.
