Equipment Operator role at Sephora's Mississippi Distribution Center; full-time, $20.40–$21.85/hr with comprehensive benefits.
Role & Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks, walkie riders, hand jacks, and other motorized and manual material handling equipment to process orders and support distribution center operations
- Obtain and maintain required certifications for safe equipment operation and battery changing procedures
- Use RF terminals to support company operating systems and inventory control procedures
- Comply with all OSHA, state, and company safety protocols; report safety violations and ensure proper work attire and use of safety harnesses as required
- Meet established production and service level standards while maintaining regular attendance and a flexible work schedule including shift work and overtime as needed
- Respond proactively to direction from shift coordinators, management, and departmental personnel
- Provide high-quality internal and external customer service per company standards
- Cross-train in other warehouse job classifications and assist maintenance with equipment-related projects
- Lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs and work safely at heights up to 32 feet when operating reach trucks and similar equipment
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean motor vehicle record
- Ability to obtain any/all DOT certifications required for the role
- Strong motor coordination skills to operate equipment safely in confined warehouse spaces
- Familiarity with conventional distribution picking, packing, put-away, and replenishment procedures
- Physical capacity to stand, sit, squat, lift, and walk for the duration of scheduled shifts
- Ability to work comfortably at heights up to 32 feet
- Detail-oriented mindset with flexibility to handle multiple priorities and adapt to change
- Positive and enthusiastic demeanor with ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Experience
Previous experience operating equipment in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred; entry-level candidates with strong foundational skills and willingness to obtain required certifications will be considered.
