Sephora Equipment Operator role in Las Vegas Distribution Center; $21.00–$22.45/hr, full-time, 2nd shift warehouse position.
Role & Responsibilities
- Operate motorized and manual material handling equipment including powered industrial trucks, walkie riders, hand jacks, and carts to process orders and support warehouse operations
- Obtain and maintain all required certifications for safe operation of various equipment types and battery changing procedures
- Process orders using equipment and manually as business needs dictate, meeting established safety and service level standards
- Operate RF terminals in support of company operating systems and inventory control procedures
- Follow all Company, state, and OSHA safety rules, policies, and regulations; report safety violations to supervisory personnel
- Maintain acceptable attendance and adhere to flexible scheduling, including overtime as requested
- Provide high-quality internal and external customer service per company standards
- Cross-train in other warehouse job classifications and assist Maintenance on equipment-related projects
- Respond proactively to direction from Shift Coordinators, management, and departmental personnel
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean motor vehicle record
- Familiarity with conventional distribution picking, packing, put-away, and replenishment procedures
- Strong motor coordination skills for safe equipment operation in confined spaces
- Detail-oriented with flexibility to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Capacity to obtain DOT certifications as required
- Ability to stand, sit, squat, lift, and walk for the duration of scheduled shifts
- Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort working at heights up to 32 feet when operating reach trucks and similar equipment
Skills
Experience
Previous experience operating equipment in a warehouse environment is preferred; the role is suitable for entry-level candidates with foundational warehouse knowledge.
Education
No formal education requirement specified; however, ability to obtain DOT certifications and operate RF terminals is essential.
