Sephora is hiring a Training Coordinator in Avon, IN for its Omni‑Channel Distribution Center; hourly role focused on warehouse training and MHE certification.
Role & Responsibilities
- Designs, organizes and delivers training programs across distribution centre functional areas, including classroom facilitation and hands‑on sessions.
- Leads Material Handling Equipment (MHE) training and recertification, ensures operator competency and maintains related certifications.
- Develops and maintains training trackers, records of completion and training documentation; administers New Hire Orientation as required.
- Creates and supports an annual training calendar; schedules sessions and coordinates trainer assignments across departments.
- Evaluates trainer performance, conducts training audits to measure efficacy, and implements corrective actions to close skill gaps.
- Identifies operational opportunities where training can improve productivity and collaborates with operations leadership to implement solutions.
- Performs administrative duties related to learning delivery and supports development of new trainers and training materials.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of direct training or facilitation experience; 3+ years preferred (distribution/warehouse environment advantageous).
- Experience or willingness to become certified to operate MHE; demonstrated comfort training in a warehouse environment.
- Proven ability to produce and maintain accurate training records and metrics.
- Strong oral presentation skills and experience delivering adult learning in group settings.
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to shift schedules typical of distribution operations.
Skills
Experience
At least 1 year of applicable training experience is required; 3+ years of training or instructional experience in a warehouse/distribution environment is preferred. Experience with MHE operation or certification is highly desirable.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration or related field preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 24.70 to USD 26.45 per hour.
