Trade Marketing Specialist at Sephora in Düsseldorf, Germany. Lead visual merchandising, planogram management, and in-store animations across DENS Hub (hybrid).
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead floor plan management for stores and corners, including brand placements, furniture updates, and visual merchandising material changes 4–6 times annually
- Manage furniture inventory across all stores and corners within the DENS region
- Create and communicate planogram updates to stores, ensuring flawless production, delivery, and installation
- Develop solutions for local initiatives such as sales executions, Beauty Outlet installations, and enhanced brand visibility
- Direct Trade Marketing projects for new store openings and remodels, coordinating with Retail and Expansion teams on floor plans, fixtures, and visual merchandising production
- Execute visual merchandise guidelines and support retail teams in product display, pricing communication, and signage implementation
- Provide stores with templates, signage files, and manage production of permanent merchandising materials
- Lead in-store animation planning, forecasting, ordering, production, and delivery of trade elements; create merchandise guidelines for store execution
- Serve as the primary contact for POS material suppliers, source new vendors, and negotiate contracts to ensure quality and pricing competitiveness
- Monitor animation and merchandising implementation through photo documentation and feedback collection
- Own OPEX merchandising budget and conduct regular reviews with Manager and Finance team
- Plan and track CAPEX investments in monthly alignment with Manager and Finance
- Collaborate with DENS Trade Marketing team, Retail teams, Offer, Finance, Supply Chain, and Sephora Europe leadership in Paris
- Spend time in-store regularly to identify retailer needs, support implementation, and ensure operational excellence
- Travel periodically within DENS region to meet peers and provide on-site support
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of Trade Marketing experience with focus on Visual Merchandise and Animation in a dynamic, growing environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud
- Fluency in English; German highly preferred
- Strong hands-on mentality and self-management
- Proven comfort in agile, dynamic working environments
- Demonstrated collaborative and cross-functional teamwork ability
