Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct final interviews and utilize applicant tracking systems to source, select, and hire candidates for all key store positions
- Develop and execute the store's ongoing training and onboarding strategy in conjunction with the Store Director and Education partners
- Oversee weekly schedule creation, approve time-off requests, and manage the store's payroll process in accordance with company, regional, and district guidelines
- Write and deliver annual performance reviews for direct reports and oversee the performance management process for the entire store team
- Manage all store operations including inventory control, shipping, receiving, returns, tester and supply management, and cycle counts to company standards
- Monitor store sales performance, staffing metrics, payroll, and other controllable expenses, demonstrating entrepreneurial acumen and financial responsibility
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of management experience in beauty, retail, or customer service industry or equivalent internal experience
- Proven experience recruiting, staffing, and hiring across all store positions, including leadership roles
- Demonstrated ability to create and develop high-performing teams and identify in-store talent for career progression
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to influence business partners at all organizational levels
- Proficiency in Windows, Word, and Excel
- Ability to maintain composure and demonstrate managerial courage in difficult performance management situations
