Sephora Canada — Talent and Business Operations Manager, Stores in Milton, ON. Lead store people, training and operations for a permanent full-time role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage both the people and operational functions of a single Sephora store to ensure consistent execution of corporate standards.
- Own talent activities for the store: source, interview (including final interviews for key roles), hire and onboard new Beauty Advisors using the online applicant tracking system.
- Design and execute store-level training programs in collaboration with the Store Director and Education partners; maintain ongoing development plans for advisors.
- Deliver and document annual performance reviews for direct reports and coordinate performance management processes across the store, including corrective action and follow-up.
- Oversee daily store operations: shipping, receiving, returns, cycle counts and inventory controls to meet company timelines and accuracy standards.
- Manage store scheduling, staffing/zoning and payroll control; monitor sales performance and other controllable expenses to support store profitability.
- Ensure operational compliance with company policies, health & safety and visual merchandising guidelines; act as an operational subject-matter expert for the store.
Qualifications
- Two to four years' experience in a comparable people/operations role at a similar-volume retail store, or equivalent internal experience.
- Demonstrated aptitude for talent identification, interviewing and developing retail leaders who can coach teams to deliver sales and outstanding client service.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to manage multiple operational priorities (inventory, scheduling, payroll) with strong attention to detail and timelines.
- Ability to perform physical tasks required in retail environments, including lifting up to 50 pounds and stocking shelves.

Experience
Two to four years of progressive retail experience in a similar people-and-operations role at a comparable store volume, or equivalent internal experience within a national retail brand.
Education
High school diploma required; post-secondary education in business, retail management, human resources or a related field preferred.

This position is based in Milton, Ontario, Canada, within easy reach of Toronto.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 54,800 to CAD 68,500 per annum.
