Sephora Canada (Brampton) is hiring a Talent and Business Operations Manager to lead store people, training and operational excellence.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead the store’s people and operational functions, partnering closely with the Store Director, Client Experience and Beauty Services leadership.
  • Own recruiting and selection for key store roles, conduct final interviews and utilise the online applicant tracking system to source and hire candidates.
  • Design and execute the store training and onboarding strategy; manage all training-related activities and development plans for Beauty Advisors and departmental leads.
  • Create weekly schedules, approve time-off requests and manage the payroll submission process to ensure compliance with company and regional guidelines.
  • Deliver annual performance reviews for direct reports, manage performance improvement processes and ensure timely feedback and follow-up.
  • Oversee store operational excellence including inventory control, shipping and receiving, returns, tester and supply management, and cycle counts.
  • Monitor store sales performance, staffing levels, payroll and other controllable expenses; act as the operational expert and business partner to drive results.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of management experience in beauty, retail or customer service, or equivalent internal experience.
  • Proven experience recruiting, staffing and hiring across store teams, including leadership positions.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, coach and develop high-performing retail teams and identify in-store talent.
  • Strong managerial courage with the ability to have difficult performance conversations when necessary.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel; experience using an online applicant tracking system.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays; capacity to bend, stretch and lift or carry up to 50 pounds.

Experience

Two to four years of people-management experience in beauty, retail or customer service environments, including direct responsibility for recruiting, training and performance management.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 54,800 to CAD 68,500 per annum.
