Sephora UK seeks Makeup Supervisor in Oxford—lead beauty team, drive sales, manage operations on permanent full-time basis.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and inspire Beauty Advisors to deliver exceptional service, expert artistry, and engaging customer experiences
  • Provide ongoing training in makeup techniques, product knowledge, artistry services, and selling skills to develop team expertise
  • Stay current with makeup trends, product innovation, and techniques to guide customers and foster continuous learning
  • Drive service and sales performance through personalised consultations, artistry services, and thoughtful upselling
  • Oversee the Booxi appointment system to ensure seamless service bookings and optimal team availability
  • Build and maintain advanced expertise in My Skin Diag for consistent, high-quality consultations across diverse skin tones and types
  • Lead Beauty Hub standards and activations, maintaining stock, consumables, and service areas to the highest standards
  • Ensure operational excellence in stock management, replenishment, merchandising, and department presentation
  • Partner with store leadership to deliver impactful campaigns, activations, and seasonal makeup moments
  • Conduct regular performance conversations, set clear goals, and support team-member development plans
  • Manage employee relations processes professionally, including attendance and performance management
  • Assist with new store opening activities such as unboxing, stock organisation, and preparation where applicable

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in beauty or retail leadership with strong artistry knowledge and service delivery expertise
  • Advanced expertise in makeup techniques, trends, and product knowledge with demonstrated ability to coach others
  • Strong leadership and team-development capabilities with focus on motivation and performance management
  • Demonstrated passion for beauty education and creating inclusive, empowering team culture
  • Proven track record in driving sales performance across both services and product sales
  • Excellent communication and customer-relationship skills with ability to tailor beauty experiences
  • Proficiency with in-store technology including appointment systems, sales tools, and inventory platforms
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak trading periods
