Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day distribution center operations for assigned department, ensuring alignment with established timelines and critical operational goals in productivity, quality, safety, and housekeeping
- Spend approximately 75% of time on the operational floor, inspiring and engaging associates through coaching, teaching, performance feedback, and development activities
- Identify and prioritize daily tasks required to meet business goals and prepare incoming shifts for smooth transition and start-up
- Establish and clearly communicate productivity expectations and performance standards to direct team members and temporary agency employees
- Drive operational efficiency and service quality by identifying process improvements, using sound judgment, and collaborating with leadership to implement changes
- Administer company policies and guidelines fairly, counsel employees consistently on performance and behavioral concerns, and support engagement strategies through observation and coaching
- Ensure a safe working environment by driving safety strategies, recognition, and accountability across the department

Qualifications
- 3–5 years of equivalent experience in high-tech distribution center operations
- At least 2 years of direct people leadership experience
- Strong communication skills and ability to multitask effectively
- Comfort with computer systems and store technology platforms
- Resilience and ability to react to in-the-moment situations and shifting priorities
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, bend, stretch, and stand/walk the floor for entire shifts
- Flexible availability to work nights, overnights, weekends, early mornings, and holidays as needed
- Consistent and reliable attendance record
