Sephora is hiring a Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead end-to-end sourcing for marketing and advertising categories, develop sourcing roadmaps, negotiate contracts, and identify cost-saving opportunities. The role is permanent and hybrid in San Francisco, supporting categories including creative agencies, influencer marketing, events, production, branded goods, and media.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing for assigned projects, including profiling supply markets, partnering with stakeholders to define business requirements, and leading RFI/RFP events using sourcing technology.
- Score, gain approval for, and document award decisions using insights gathered throughout the sourcing process; negotiate with suppliers, finalize contracts, and transition awarded business to business partners.
- Use market intelligence, benchmarking, spend analysis, and supplier insights to shape sourcing strategies, negotiation approaches, and category recommendations.
- Support business partners’ sourcing objectives and supplier needs through the Intake-to-Contract Process and associated tools, preparing decision-oriented updates that outline recommendations, trade-offs, risks, and financial impact.
- Assess supply markets for assigned categories to develop strategies that optimize supplier capabilities nationally and regionally, and build strategic sourcing roadmaps with key stakeholders.
- Support the Senior Manager across Marketing and Advertising categories, including creative agencies, influencer marketing, events, production, branded goods, and media, while identifying spend-leverage opportunities to reduce total costs.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of successful end-to-end strategic sourcing experience.
- At least 5 years of sourcing experience across marketing goods and services, preferably within a North American retail organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder-influence skills, with the ability to manage projects end-to-end in a fast-paced environment.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 135,000 to USD 151,000 per annum.
