Sephora Store Training Manager (Eastern Region) – Remote/Toronto, Canada. Lead retail beauty education strategy and drive store performance through impactful training.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and impactful training experiences in-store, in meeting rooms, and through virtual environments that support store, market, and enterprise priorities
  • Coach and mentor store managers and teams to enhance their coaching capabilities and ensure consistent, high-quality training delivery and client engagement across all locations
  • Drive participation in key training programs at all levels, including foundational learning, manager development programs, and brand education initiatives
  • Support new store launches with comprehensive onboarding and training programs that equip teams to succeed from day one
  • Serve as a trusted subject-matter expert on training content and programs for store staff, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and relevance across the portfolio
  • Collect insights from in-store teams through observation and feedback to identify training gaps, program strengths, and improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with regional leadership to understand evolving learning needs and recommend enhancements to existing programs based on real-time data and feedback
  • Manage assigned projects and initiatives that contribute to overall store and enterprise priorities throughout the year
  • Maintain expertise in makeup, skincare, haircare, and fragrance categories to support training delivery and uphold exceptional customer service standards

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of professional experience in cosmetics, beauty, or adult education with a demonstrated passion for talent development and store experience enhancement
  • Full professional bilingual fluency in French and English (written and spoken) with the ability to deliver training in both languages and support French-speaking personnel across Quebec and Eastern Canada
  • Proven ability to design and deliver engaging, effective training in both in-person and online modalities to diverse audiences
  • Flexibility to work in hybrid format (remote and in-store), including evenings and weekends aligned with store traffic patterns and key promotional periods
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with confidence facilitating training sessions and building strong relationships with store teams and managers
  • Deep product expertise across makeup, skincare, haircare, and fragrance with the ability to model and uphold exceptional customer service standards
  • Collaborative mindset with strong relationship-building and teamwork capabilities
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing retail dynamics
  • Strong business acumen and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams)
  • Sound judgment and decision-making ability with confidence managing ambiguity and delivering results

Experience
