Sephora — Store Specialist role in Taormina, Italy. Permanent full-time position supporting store operations, team leadership and commercial activities.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee daily floor operations for one or more core product categories (makeup, skincare, fragrance, Sephora Collection), ensuring excellent merchandising and customer experience.
- Act as liaison between the Store Manager and Beauty Advisor team, supporting daily store commercial and HR activities and implementing central policies and procedures.
- Monitor and analyse team KPIs and daily reporting; contribute to budget management and motivate the team to achieve targets.
- Coordinate commercial and organisational activities including promotions, events, product launches and CRM campaigns.
- Manage stockroom operations and replenishment cycles to maintain optimal in-store stock levels and merchandising standards.
- Train and mentor new hires, guiding their development in collaboration with store managers and fostering a collaborative team culture.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–4 years' experience in similar supervisory or assistant-manager roles within dynamic, multinational retail or beauty environments.
- Proven ability to lead and develop a retail team, drive engagement and achieve commercial objectives.
- Familiarity with retail KPIs, basic budget oversight, performance analysis and daily reporting.
- Resilient, flexible and results-oriented with strong interpersonal skills and a customer-centric mindset.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3–4 years in supervisory or assistant-store manager roles in retail, preferably within multinational or fast-paced beauty/consumer environments.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; further education in retail, business, cosmetics or a related discipline is preferred.
Workplace
This position is based in Taormina, Sicily, Italy, within easy reach of Catania.
