The Store Services Team Lead supports all product categories across a Sephora retail location, ensuring the sales team executes the Sephora selling model and delivers exceptional customer service. The role encompasses sales performance management, visual merchandising oversight, customer engagement, and team development to drive store performance and exceed company objectives.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure all beauty advisors execute the Sephora sales model correctly and achieve revenue targets within their assigned product categories (colour, skincare, fragrance, Sephora Collection)
- Support the operations team by maintaining visual merchandising standards and brand compliance across the sales floor, preserving the aesthetic integrity and customer-friendliness of the retail environment
- Act as an on-floor customer service manager, collaborating with team members and customers to provide exemplary service and engagement
- Monitor store sales performance and identify commercial opportunities; ensure appropriate staffing levels and zone allocation to meet customer expectations
- Participate in recruitment interviews and talent assessment for team members as needed
- Demonstrate and reinforce Sephora values including customer passion, innovation, expertise, work-life balance, respect, teamwork, and initiative
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in a similar supervisory role in a high-volume retail environment, or equivalent internal experience at Sephora
- Proven ability to influence peers and provide constructive feedback
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Effective time management and problem-solving capabilities
