Sephora Canada — Store Operations Manager in Toronto. Lead store operations, inventory, visual merchandising and team development (full-time).

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day operational excellence for the assigned store location, ensuring all operations processes are executed to company standards.
  • Manage inventory lifecycle including shipping, receiving, returns, cycle counting and reconciliation within established timelines and guidelines.
  • Oversee visual merchandising and on-stage presentation to guarantee compliance with brand concepts and standards.
  • Direct supply management: maintain budgets and appropriate stock levels for supplies, testers and samples.
  • Supervise and coordinate in-house and third-party cleaning crews, providing coaching and escalation where necessary.
  • Own controllable expenses by partnering on staffing, payroll and budget strategies to optimise store performance.
  • Participate in performance management for the operations team, delivering timely feedback, coaching and development plans.
  • Act as Manager on Duty regularly, engaging with Beauty Advisors and clients on the sales floor to support service standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2–4 years of management experience in an operations-focused retail role or equivalent internal experience.
  • Proven, metrics-driven track record of coaching and developing high-performing teams to meet operational and business objectives.
  • Demonstrated managerial courage with the ability to have difficult conversations and follow through on performance outcomes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence partners at all levels.
  • Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
  • Availability for evenings, weekends and holidays; ability to bend, stretch and lift up to 50 pounds when stocking and handling merchandise.

Experience

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 54,800 to CAD 74,000 per annum.
