Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead all team-related and operational aspects of an assigned Sephora store location
  • Conduct final interviews for all key positions and manage the applicant tracking system for recruitment and hiring
  • Develop and execute store-wide training strategy in collaboration with the store director and education partners
  • Supervise weekly scheduling, approve leave requests, and manage payroll processes while ensuring compliance with company, regional, and district guidelines
  • Write and present annual performance evaluations for direct reports and oversee performance management across the entire store team
  • Provide timely feedback and coaching to team members; manage difficult performance conversations
  • Direct all operational activities to ensure proper execution of store procedures in compliance with company standards
  • Manage store inventory including shipping, receiving, returns, supply management, and cyclic inventory; ensure adherence to company directives and timelines
  • Demonstrate strong business acumen regarding store revenue, staffing, payroll, and controllable expenses
  • Lead store team activities and identify high-potential talent for internal development

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of management experience in beauty, retail, customer service, or equivalent internal experience
  • Proven recruitment and hiring experience for all store position levels, including supervisory roles
  • Demonstrated ability to build and motivate high-performing teams
  • Proven capability to identify, develop, and mentor talent throughout their career progression
  • Composure and courage to engage in difficult managerial conversations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence partners at all levels
  • Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel
  • Physical capability to bend, stretch, lift loads up to 50 pounds, and work in a scented retail environment
  • Availability for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts to align with customer shopping patterns
