Sephora New York (Meatpacking) seeks a Store Operations Leader — full-time hourly $28–$32/hr to lead inventory, merchandising and team development.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day store operations including inventory management, replenishment, receiving and order fulfillment to maintain stock accuracy and availability
- Lead and execute visual merchandising, promotional set-up and store maintenance to uphold brand presentation and drive sales
- Coach, develop and mentor store operations team members to improve selling behaviors, operational execution and performance against KPIs
- Support an exceptional client experience by partnering with sales teams on service delivery and resolving operational barriers
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards and loss-prevention procedures
- Manage scheduling requirements and be available to work peak retail hours including nights, weekends and holidays
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in retail operations or hospitality
- Proven ability to coach and develop teams to achieve operational and sales objectives
- Strong organizational skills with acute attention to detail and problem-solving capability
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to meet physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Reliable availability to work 30–40 hours per week, including peak retail shifts

Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in retail operations or hospitality with demonstrated success managing inventory, leading teams and meeting store performance targets.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or retail/management certification preferred.
