Sephora Canada seeks a Store Operations and Talent Manager in Toronto to lead people and operational functions at the Liberty Village store.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct final interviews for all key store positions and manage the applicant tracking system for candidate sourcing, selection, and hiring
- Develop and execute the store's ongoing training strategy in conjunction with the Store Director and Education partners; manage all training-related functions
- Create weekly store schedules, approve time-off requests, and oversee payroll management to ensure timely and accurate payment in compliance with company and regional guidelines
- Write, deliver, and oversee annual performance reviews for direct reports and manage store-wide performance management situations with timely feedback and follow-up
- Oversee all store operations to ensure execution meets company standards, including inventory management, shipping, receiving, returns, tester and supply control, and cycle counts
- Monitor store sales performance, staffing, payroll, and controllable expenses; demonstrate expert-level understanding of store financial metrics
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of management experience in beauty, retail, or customer service
- Proven recruitment, staffing, and hiring experience across all store positions, including leadership roles
- Demonstrated ability to create high-performing teams and identify and develop in-store talent
- Strong composure and managerial courage to conduct difficult conversations and manage performance situations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to influence business partners at all levels
- Proficiency with Windows, Word, and Excel

Experience
2–4 years of management experience in the beauty, retail, or customer service industry, with demonstrated success in recruiting, staffing, and hiring across multiple store positions including leadership roles. Candidates should possess a proven track record of building and developing high-performing retail teams.
Education
No specific educational qualifications are mandated; relevant retail management or customer service experience is prioritized.
