Store Operations and Talent Manager at Sephora Canada in Toronto—lead retail operations, talent management, and team development in a full-time leadership role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct final interviews and manage recruitment for all store positions using applicant tracking systems
- Develop and execute the store's training strategy in conjunction with the Store Director and Education partners
- Create weekly schedules, approve time-off requests, and manage payroll processes in compliance with company, regional, and district guidelines
- Write and deliver annual performance reviews for direct reports; oversee performance management across the store
- Manage all store operations including inventory control, receiving and shipping, tester management, and cycle counts
- Monitor store sales performance, staffing levels, payroll, and controllable expenses
- Maintain team performance and provide timely coaching and feedback to support continuous improvement
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of management experience in beauty, retail, or customer service sectors
- Proven track record in recruiting, staffing, and hiring across multiple store positions including leadership roles
- Demonstrated ability to build and sustain high-performing teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders across all levels
- Proficiency in Windows, Word, and Excel

2–4 years of management experience in the beauty, retail, or customer service industry, with demonstrated success in recruiting, staffing, hiring across store positions, and developing high-performing teams.
