Sephora Canada hiring Store Operations and Talent Manager in Kitchener, ON. Lead retail operations, talent management, and team development. CAD$54,800–$68,500 annually.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct final interviews and utilize the applicant tracking system to source, select, and hire candidates for all key store positions
- Manage all store training functions and develop comprehensive onboarding and ongoing training strategies in conjunction with the Store Director and Education partners
- Oversee weekly schedule creation, approve time-off requests, and manage payroll processes ensuring accuracy and timely submission per company guidelines
- Write and deliver annual performance reviews for direct reports, oversee store-wide performance management, and provide timely corrective feedback
- Oversee all store operations including inventory management, shipping, receiving, returns, tester and supply control, and cycle counts
- Monitor store sales performance, staffing levels, payroll expenses, and other controllable costs to drive operational excellence and business results
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of management experience in beauty, retail, or customer service
- Proven recruiting and staffing experience across all store-level positions, including leadership roles
- Demonstrated ability to build and sustain high-performing teams
- Capacity to identify in-store talent and develop career progression pathways
- Strong emotional composure and managerial courage to conduct difficult conversations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to influence at all organizational levels

Experience
2–4 years of management experience in the beauty, retail, or customer service industry, with demonstrated recruiting, staffing, and hiring expertise across all store positions including leadership-level roles.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 54,800 to CAD 68,500 per annum.
