Sephora Canada, Charlottetown: Store Operations and Talent Manager – lead people and operations, manage staffing, training, scheduling, and performance.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Serve as Talent Champion: conduct final interviews for all key positions and utilize applicant tracking systems to source, select, and hire candidates
  • Manage all training-related functions within the store, develop and execute the store's ongoing training strategy in conjunction with the Store Director and Education partners
  • Oversee weekly schedule creation, approve time-off requests, and manage the store's payroll process while ensuring compliance with company, regional, and district guidelines
  • Write and deliver annual performance reviews for direct reports in a complete and timely manner; oversee the performance management process for the entire store
  • Oversee all store operations and inventory management, including shipping, receiving, returns, tester and supply control, and cycle counts completed accurately and on time
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of the store's sales performance, staffing, payroll, and all controllable expenses to drive entrepreneurial accountability

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of management experience in beauty, retail, or customer service industries, or equivalent internal experience
  • Proven experience recruiting, staffing, and hiring across all store positions, including leadership roles
  • Demonstrated ability to create high-performing teams and identify and develop in-store talent throughout their career journey
  • Strong managerial composure and ability to conduct difficult conversations with professionalism
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence business partners at all levels

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 54,800 to CAD 68,500 per annum.
