Sephora Canada seeks an experienced Store Operations and Talent Manager to lead people and operational functions at the Lynden Park Mall location in Brantford, Ontario. This full-time, permanent role encompasses staffing, training and onboarding of Beauty Advisors, scheduling, performance management, payroll oversight, and consistent execution of Sephora's operational standards. The successful candidate will report to the Store Director and manage a team typically comprising Department Leads and Beauty Advisors.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct final interviews and utilize the applicant tracking system to source, select, and hire candidates for all key store positions
- Manage all training-related functions within the store and develop on-going training strategy in conjunction with the Store Director and Education partners
- Oversee weekly schedule creation, approve time-off requests, and manage the store's payroll process to ensure timely and accurate team member compensation
- Write and deliver annual performance reviews for direct reports and oversee performance management situations across the entire store team
- Oversee all store operations and inventory management, including shipping, receiving, returns, tester and supply control, and cycle counts
- Demonstrate strong understanding of store sales performance, staffing, payroll, and controllable expenses to drive operational excellence and entrepreneurial leadership
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of management experience in beauty, retail, or customer service industry
- Previous experience recruiting, staffing, and hiring across all store positions, including leadership roles
- Proven ability to create high-performing teams and identify and develop in-store talent
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to influence business partners at all levels
- Proficiency with Windows, Word, and Excel
- Ability to maintain composure and demonstrate managerial courage in difficult conversations

Experience
2–4 years of management experience in the beauty, retail, or customer service industry, with demonstrated success recruiting, staffing, and hiring across all store positions, including leadership roles. Proven track record of creating high-performing teams and developing employee talent throughout their career journey.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business management or retail operations preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 54,800 to CAD 68,500 per annum.
