Sephora seeks a Store Manager in Venice, Italy — lead store P&L, drive sales and develop teams for a flagship beauty destination.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead overall store performance, ensuring budget and sales targets are met and delivering on profitability objectives.
- Own the store P&L: monitor inventory discrepancies, control operating and personnel costs, and implement strategies to optimise margins.
- Plan and coordinate commercial activities including promotions, product launches, CRM campaigns and in-store events to maximise traffic and conversion.
- Analyse and drive key retail KPIs (store traffic, average transaction value, units per transaction) and produce daily/periodic performance reports.
- Manage stockroom operations and replenishment cycles to maintain optimal product availability and merchandising standards.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures and store operational guidelines.
- Coach, develop and mentor Department Managers and the wider store team; work with HR and the Area Manager to design personalised career pathways.
- Foster a motivating, inclusive team climate that encourages high performance and excellent customer experience.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–4 years of experience in a store management or similar leadership role, preferably within fast-paced, multinational retail.
- Proven ability to manage P&L and familiarity with retail budgeting and daily financial reporting.
- Demonstrable experience leading large, multi-disciplinary teams and driving sustained sales performance.
- Strong analytical capability with experience interpreting KPIs and translating insights into commercial actions.
- Strategic mindset with the capacity to anticipate market trends and propose breakthrough initiatives.

Experience
Minimum 3–4 years in a store leadership position within dynamic retail environments; experience in multinational or prestige retail preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business, retail or a related field is preferred; substantial retail management experience may substitute for formal qualifications.
