Role & Responsibilities
- Lead recruitment activities and conduct final interviews for all key positions using the applicant tracking system
- Manage and execute the store's comprehensive training and development strategy in collaboration with the store director and education partners
- Oversee weekly scheduling, approve leave requests, and administer payroll processes while ensuring compliance with company, regional and district guidelines
- Develop, deliver and supervise annual performance evaluations for direct reports; manage performance improvement activities across the team
- Direct all store operations and inventory management, including receiving, shipping, merchandise returns, and cyclical inventory procedures
- Maintain operational expertise in store revenue, staffing, payroll and controllable expenses
- Identify and cultivate high-potential talent within the store, supporting professional development and career progression
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of management experience in beauty, retail, customer service or equivalent internal experience
- Proven experience in recruitment, staffing and hiring across all store positions, including supervisory roles
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams while identifying and developing talent throughout their career
- Proficiency in difficult conversations and staff management discipline
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence business partners at all levels
- Competency in Windows, Word and Excel
