Sephora hiring Store Manager, Talent & Operations in Laval, QC. Lead team, hiring, and store operations for Canada's premier beauty retailer.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Conduct final interviews for all key positions and manage the online applicant tracking system to source, screen, and hire qualified candidates
  • Manage all training activities within the store, collaborate with store directors and Education partners to develop and implement a continuous training strategy
  • Supervise the weekly schedule and approve leave requests within the store, manage the payroll process and ensure compliance with corporate, regional, and district payroll guidelines
  • Write and present annual performance evaluations for direct reports in a timely manner, supervise the performance management process across the store, and provide timely feedback for improvement
  • Lead store operational activities and ensure execution of all store operating processes in compliance with Sephora standards
  • Manage store inventory including shipments, receiving, merchandise returns, supply and demonstrator management, and cycle inventory operations in accordance with company directives and timelines
  • Demonstrate strong business acumen with solid understanding of store revenue, staffing, payroll processes, and all other controllable expenses within the store

Qualifications

  • 2 to 4 years of management experience in the beauty, retail, or customer service industry, or equivalent internal experience
  • Proven experience in recruitment, staffing, and hiring for all store positions, including supervisory roles
  • Demonstrated ability to build high-performing teams and easily identify and develop talent throughout their career journey
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and courage to conduct difficult conversations as a manager
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence business partners across all levels with clarity and concision
  • Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel

Experience

Compensation
